Recognizing Local Educators who Make a Lasting Impact on the Lives of Jewish Children

THE NOMINATIONS FOR 2014 ARE NOW CLOSED.  NOMINATIONS FOR 2015 WILL OPEN AFTER JAN. 1, 2015.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County is pleased to present you with an opportunity to publicly recognize and support an outstanding classroom-based teacher of grades preK-12 in your day or religious school.

This nationally recognized award has elevated the status of Jewish educators and Jewish education over the past 14 years. All Jewish formal educational institutions are being asked to select ONE candidate to represent Middlesex County. The awardee will receive $2,000, $1,000 of which is a professional development stipend to be used by June 2015. The remaining $1,000 is for use at the recipient’s discretion.

Your organization should endorse ONE candidate by following these instructions:

Federation’s awards committee will select one final candidate from all of the nominees and submit the materials to the foundation’s National Awards Panel for final selection. The awardee will be notified in early June 2014.
