Yachad

The Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County is pleased to partner with Yachad, an organization dedicated to enhancing  opportunities for individuals with disabilities to ensure their participation in the full spectrum of Jewish life.

Yachad, the Hebrew word for “together,” brings individuals with special needs together with their mainstream peers for socialization and opportunities to learn from one another. The program, open to Jewish children across the denominational spectrum (Reform, Conservative and Orthodox), aims to give individuals with developmental disabilities an opportunity to socialize and to be included within the Jewish community.  The Middlesex Yachad Chapter provides monthly social and recreational activities that are inclusive and fun.

The creation of the Middlesex County Chapter of Yachad is rooted in the Federation’s mission to care for the vulnerable here and around the world.
